Calarca
Calarca is a city in Quindío. Calarca is a municipality in the eastern part of the department of Quindío, Colombia. It is located 4 km east of the departmental capital Armenia. Its nickname is La Villa del Cacique.

very diverse options of foods. You will find anything from hot dogs to the most amazing traditional dishes and desserts. Excellent restaurants in the outskirts of town.

Hotel Karlaka (www.hotelkarlaka.com) A great and warm place for holidays: kind staff, all types of rooms (nicely decorated), amazing swimming pools and a turkish bath to relax. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for people who like to be surrounded by a natural environment (there is even a walking trail through the forest and a small lake inside the hotel!)
Plus: the hotel is eco-friendly, a good means to match my convictions and my way of travelling.
