See

  • School of Arts. A National Trust building that contains a significant collection of Sir Edward Parkes relics. In 1889 Sir Henry Parkes delivered a famous speech which re-energised the federation movement to create the country of Australia, bringing the then separate states together in a federation, which was achieved in 1901. The S.H.P Memorial School of Arts was built to commemorate this with a now multi-functional building including a museum, cinema, cafe and community spaces
  • Tenterfield Saddlery, High Street. The Tenterfield Saddlery was classified by the National Trust of Australia in 1972. Peter Allen, singer and songwriter, has perpetuated the memory of George Woolnough in one of his best known songs "The Tenterfield Saddler".
  • Heritage buildings including the Post Office, bank, and the grand Stannum House.
  • City views from Mount Mackenzie Lookout, a 15-minute drive away.
