Get in

[edit]

Ferries run several times a week from Athens (Piraeus port). There is an airport with connections to Athens and Crete. Flights run daily during the tourist season. During the winter flights and ferries are less frequent. A yacht marina opened in 2017.

  • All of these islands have ferry links with Athens/Piraeus and the other islands in the area.
  • Many of these islands have airline connections with Athens and in summer there are many charter flights from various airports in Europe, bringing in large crowds of tourists.
  • Most of these islands have ferry links with respective nearest towns on the Turkish coast.

This region travel guide to East Aegean Islands is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here. Please plunge forward and help it grow!
