Ankola is a small town in Uttara Kannada.

The town is surrounded by numerous temples, and the local people speak Kannada and Konkani.

Get in

The town is well connected to Mangalore and Goa - by bus and train. Konkan railways operates a fairly regular services and Bangalore is connected by road. The National Highway 17 passes through Ankola from Goa to Udupi.
