Slănic Moldova is a spa town in Moldavia.

Located in the western part pf Moldavia in the Carpathian mountains, Slănic Moldova is known for its mineral springs.

Get in

There are hourly buses from the nearby town Târgu Ocna (a 15 minutes trip), which has connections by rail with most parts of Romania.

The resort is walkable. You can go and see the mineral springs.

By car

If you want to visit Târgu Ocna, you can get in the car and drive 17 kilometers.

The most important thing to see here is the mineral springs, which are drinkable and help people to treat sick and some diseases. The mountains are rich in sulfur and iron, that's why the springs are rich in minerals.

In the neighbour of the Town Hall, there is wireless internet for free and anyone can access it anytime. Another thing to do is to go to the mineral springs through the town park and see the picturesque image of the mountains around the village.

A lot of souvenirs are available here. Also, near the town park there is a complex where anyone can find clothes, magazines and food stores.
