Rupit is a village in the county of Osona, in the subregion of the Collsacabra, in Catalonia, Spain. It is located at 822 m above sea level, 98 km from Barcelona. The town is very attractive with narrow medieval streets and old houses and stone streets. Main sights include the Romanesque Church of Sant Joan de Fàbregues, the Sallent waterfall and a hanging bridge.

There are many hiking routes around the Collascabra area offering amazing views of the cliffs and forests around. One of the top hiking routes is a loop going from Rupit to Salt de Sallent, Rupit's famous 115 m waterfall, and the Mirador dels Basis.
