La Antilla is in Huelva province in the autonomous region of Andalusia. Frequented mainly by Spanish vacationers, it is known for its clean waters and peaceful atmosphere. If you want a couple of relaxed days by the beach away from tourist traps like Marbella, this is the place to come.

La Antilla caters mainly for Spanish tourists, especially from Seville. Its beaches are part of the Costa de la Luz, which comprises the coasts of the provinces of Huelva and Cádiz.

La Antilla's beaches enjoy very good weather conditions. With mild temperatures during winter, summers not as hot as in the interior of the Peninsula, as well as more than three thousand hours of sunshine a year. La Antilla beach has great infrastructure for the enjoyment of the beach, as well as all the services within the municipality of La Antilla that the visitor may need.

La Antilla has a stable population of 1,500 inhabitants (2011) in winter and reaches 40,000 in summer. La Antilla used to be a fishermen's village, and you can enjoy its traditional atmosphere. La Antilla beach is less than 5 km from the municipality of Lepe, and stretches for almost 4 km of coastline, made up of fine golden sands.

La Antilla beach has a lot of leisure services, hotels on La Antilla beach, restaurants and ideal accommodation to enjoy a holiday in Huelva with children.

La Cerveceria Small but popular bar on the main strip. Cheap beer and a limited menu of tapas.

There are a few hostels along the strip ranging in price. Weekends can become very busy, especially during summer.
