Saint-Mathieu-de-Belœil is a modern municipality, with agriculture, aviation, industry and recreational tourism, in the regional county municipality (MRC) of La Vallée-du-Richelieu, in Montérégie, in Quebec, Canada.
The main attractions of this municipality are, in particular:

- From Montréal (37 km, time: 0 hr 31 min. Take the Jacques-Cartier bridge (south); take route 132 (eastbound); take Highway 20 (east) to the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Street exit; go northwest to the village of Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil.
- From Quebec (222 km, time: 2 hr 15 min). Take Highway 20 (westbound) to the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Street exit in Saint-Marc-sur-Richelieu (near the Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil airfield); go northeast on rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste to Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil.
By plane
The municipality of Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil owns the airfield infrastructure. However, this aerodrome is administered by the Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil Airport Corporation. The toponymic designation of this aerodrome evokes the merit of the late Gilles Beaudet, mayor of the municipality of Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, from 1997 to 2005. This change of designation was formalized on June 10, 2021 at the Commission de toponymique du Québec.
This aerodrome offers a paved runway open year-round. This airport area offers parking, storage, maintenance and repairs of aircraft. Several aviation businesses are located there. Some aviation companies offer aircraft rentals, air charters and guided tours. In addition, several enthusiasts come to follow their pilot training at one of the training centres established at this airport. In addition, several companies specialize in the field of helicopters.

- 1 Arpents Verts Golf Club (Club de golf des Arpents Verts), 5000, chemin des Grands-Côteaux, ☏ +1 450-464-3322. This club is established on one of the oldest golf courses on the South Shore of Montreal. It offers two courses on natural grass and adorned with mature trees almost a hundred years old. The club can host many events (corporate meetings, weddings) with a room with a capacity of 100 people and two other rooms with a capacity of 30 and 40 people.

- 1 Saint-Marc-sur-Richelieu Municipality comprising 12.8 km on the west bank of the Richelieu River. Vacationing is highly developed along the waterfront road (route 223 - rue Richelieu) because of pleasure boating. The Trois Tilleuls hotel and the Old Federal Quay (facing Jeannotte Island) attract many tourists. Nautical traffic on the Richelieu River generates nautical activities: boating, water skiing, fishing, marinas...
