Apapa also known as Bean pudding. It is eaten widely by the people of Ebira (a tribe in Kogi State). When Apapa is cooked properly, it can be eaten as a snack.

Iya also known as Pounded Yam is one of the most delicious meal eaten in the Kogi.

Uka also known as Yam or Cassava Flour. It is a delicious delicacy in Nigeria. It is made from yam or Cassava flour which is dried and grinded into powder form. This is prepared in hot water and stirred continuously until it becomes so fluffy and smooth. It can be eaten with any kind of soup.
