Mungkid is a town in Central Java in Indonesia, serving as the capital of Magelang regency. It is located approximately 10km from Magelang, 30km from Yogyakarta, and 95km from Semarang.

By bus

From Yogyakarta, take a TransJogja bus to the Jombor terminal. Then take a bus heading towards Magelang. Alight at the Blabak market. This is the town centre.
