The primary method of getting into Macquarie Pass National Park is by car. From Albion Park, drive west for 13 km on the Illawarra Highway (A48) until you reach the park. There is signage indicating towards the carparks both to your right and to the left.

  • Cascades walk (parking for trail along Illawarra Highway), +61 2 4224 4188. A 2-kilometre return trail towards 1 Cascade Falls – it's mostly an easy stroll through rainforest and eucalypt trees.
  • Clover Hill trail, Clover Hill Rd (parking for trail along Illawarra Highway), +61 2 4224 4188. A very difficult 6-km return trail that is a Grade 5 trail according to the NPWS. The trail follows the old logging route until you reach the trail's main highlight, 2 Rainbow Falls, which is otherwise a very serene trail.
