Morrison is a small town of about 400 souls nestled in the Front Range foothills of the Denver Metropolitan Area in the U.S. state of Colorado. The town is located 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Denver in Jefferson County. Besides its spectacular geology and rich paleontological history, Morrison is the home of Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, a world famous music venue.

  • 2 The Fort, 19192 Highway 8. The Fort is possibly the Denver area's most famous restaurant. It sits just on the edge of suburban Denver and is perhaps most famous for hosting a dinner during the G7 conference in 1997. Reservations highly recommended.
