Rex operates a few passenger flights operating from the airport. Services include:

• Regional Express (REX) operate services from Brisbane to St George, via Toowoomba and onwards to the rural towns of Cunnamulla and Thargomindah.

By car

St George sits at the junction of several highways including the Castlereagh Highway, the Moonie Highway, the Carnarvon Highway and the Balonne Highway.

By bus

• Murrays Coaches operate services between St George and Toowoomba.

• St George Heritage Centre (in visitor centre). Located inside the shire's visitor centre, this heritage centre contains a great range of artifacts and old items used during the 19th and early 20th centuries. (updated Oct 2021)

• The St George Show is celebrated every year over the Labour Day long weekend (weekend of the first Monday in May), Everyone is encouraged to go and locals have a great time sharing stories at the bar and watching the rodeo.
• St George River Walk is a short 2-km walk along the Balonne River.
