Understand

[edit]

If you were to imagine what a quintessential scene from a small New England Village would look like then Stark would fit that vision you have, with clapboard churches, and covered bridges over idyllic rivers. Like most of the communities in the North Woods of New Hampshire, Stark has a history that is mostly tied with timber harvesting. The Town of Stark today doesn't have a Walmart, a McDonald's, or even a gas station. the town of Stark doesn't have a lot to offer a traveler who isn't looking for outdoor activities or the quaint charm of a rural New England Village with that aforementioned clapboard church, and covered bridge. If you enjoy being outdoors or want to take a few pictures of a postcard New England village, the town of Stark would nicely into your itinerary.
