Sports teams of the University of West Georgia, preparing to move from the NCAA Division II Gulf South Conference to the Division I Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) in July 2024. The football team will play in the United Athletic Conference, a football-only league in the second-tier FCS in which the ASUN is a partner. Most sports venues are on the school's sprawling campus, with the most prominent being the football team's 2 University Stadium and 3 The Coliseum, home to basketball and volleyball.
