Aki (安芸市) is a town in Kochi Prefecture, Japan.

Get in[edit]

The independent rail company Tosa-Kuroshio Railway serves Aki. If traveling by train, transfer at Gomen Station in Nankoku. You can also access the line from Kochi's tram. Go all the way to Gomen-machi (the terminus). There are six stations on the line within city limits: Akano, Ananai, Kyujomae, Aki, Ioki, and Shimoyama Stations. Most tourist attractions are near Aki Station.

Get around[edit]

Most of the sites can be easily accessed by a 20-30 minute walk from Aki Station or a 10 minute bike ride. Free rental bikes are available at the souvenir shop outside Aki Station.
