Aukštaitija (meaning Highlands) is a large area in the north-east of Lithuania.

  • 1 "Karischki"/Gireišiai (near Panemunelis). One of the points of the Struve Geodetic Arc world heritage site. Right next to the road between Rokiskis and Kupiskis, the place is more visible than other rural points as there's a fence around the marker, and elevated viewpoint to have a look around the fields, a little playground and a big parking area.
