Fort Hollandia

• 1 Fort Hollandia (Benteng Hollandia). Initially, Fort Hollandia was founded in 1642 under the name Fort Lonthoir. Later it was renamed Fort Hollandia by Pieter Vlak. Fort Hollandia was established with the aim of monitoring the movement of the Banda people, and monitoring sea traffic, especially the nutmeg trade in the Lonthoir and Neira sea lanes.
