- 2 Arad Airport (ARW IATA) (4 km west of the city). Only occasional charter flights.

Near Ciucea, you can find several caves, and the Ponor Fortresses, which are one of the biggest karstic complexes in Romania.
Around Arad, there are two medieval monasteries and a fortress.
