Ca Na is a fishing village on the southern border of Ninh Thuan Province in the Southern Vietnam region of Vietnam.

Understand[edit]

Ca Na is a sleepy fishing village producing fish sauce and reputedly some of the best salt in Vietnam. Several hotels and resorts serving domestic tourism have popped up on the beach along Hwy 1A a kilometre out of town.

Get in[edit]

Buses going between Nha Trang and Mui Ne can let you out or pick you up in the hotel/resort area.

Get around[edit]

The town itself is not very big and is walkable.

See[edit]

There is a small temple halfway up a hill near the hotels.

Do[edit]

Vietnam Scuba Resort offers non-certified scuba. Otherwise just relax and enjoy the quiet beach.

  • Pandaran Guesthouse & Hotel, km1589 Hwy 1A. Cute and clean guesthouse with a hotel addition right on the water. Owner speaks some English and is generally friendly and helpful. There is a cafe on-site serving Vietnamese food and some Chinese food with great views of the beach. Sandy portions of the beach can be reached near the nearby Ca Na Hotel. Single room: 200,000 dong.
