  • [formerly dead link]Chester County Historical Society (Museum & Library), 225 N. High Street, West Chester, PA 19380-2691, +1 610 692-4800. Museum & Library: T-Sa 10AM-5PM; Museum Shop: W-Sa 9:30AM-4:30PM. Definitely bigger and fancier than your average Historical Society Museum. One of the buildings was originally an opera house designed by the same architect who designed the capital dome in Washington, DC. Not as good as a Smithsonian or something, but if you're into history at all and you're in the area, it's defintitely worth seeing. Genealogical and newspaper records at the library are very comprehensive.

This region travel guide to Chester County is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here.
