Cordele is a town in the Classic Heartland of Georgia.

Cordele, a town named after a colonel's daughter named Cordelia, is the self-described "Watermelon Capital of the World." It hosts its annual Watermelon festival in June.

Cordele is easily accessed since it sits right on I-75 north of Valdosta and south of Warner Robins.
