Offa is a city in the Kwara (south-western part) of Nigeria. It was founded in 1395 by Olalomi olofa-gan gan. There are about 120,100 inhabitants (2016). The vegetation in Offa is savanna vegetation and the town is noted for its weaving and dyeing trade, farming and also rearing of livestock.

Offa is near the railway from Lagos at the junction of the Lafiagi, Ikirun, and Ilorin town roads. A former Yoruba community on the savanna, it is a hub for the harvesting of nearby crops such yams, cassava (manioc), corn (maize), sorghum, and shea nuts. Significant industres in the town include cotton-weaving and indigo-dyeing using indigo that is farmed nearby.
