Fairbourne is a small village on the coast of Gwynedd west of Dolgellau.

- 1 Fairbourne railway station. Cambrian Coast Railway with services from Pwllheli and Machynlleth. Train in each direction only every two hours.

[edit]- The beach. Lovely long sandy beach. However access over boulders hard for people with poor mobility.

- Fairbourne golf club. Bar open to visitors.
- Mawddach Trail. Walk or cycle along the 9 mile stretch of former railway line, that runs along the scenic estuary of the Mawddach river, from Morfa Mawddach, through Penmaenpool towards Dolgellau.
Buy Two good shops available for day to day needs.
