Get in[edit]

You can get to Junction City by Highway 299, it goes right thru the town

  • Trinity River. Great starting point for people who go tubing on the Trinity River, the river is literally within walking distance from the Junction City store

  • Junction City Store. The only store in town, great place to get bait for fishing or stock up on supplies whether it be food or drinks.

  • JC Cafe, 30348 State Highway 299, +1 530 623-2007. One of the few places to eat here in this town.

Does not have a police department but is served by the Trinity County Sheriff.

Does not have a hospital; the nearest hospital is in Weaverville.

Stay safe[edit]

Has a very low crime rate does not have a police department but does have a County Sherriff and the California Highway Patrol. Cell phone service is spotty as you are in the mountains. Also be wary in the wintertime as it does snow in this area and usually the roads are cleaned up rather quickly, best advice would to bring chains for your vehicles tires just in case, or call 511 and get the road conditions for the area
