Sleep[edit]
- OYO Residencial Itacuruçá Apart Hotel, R. Cecília, 88 - Itacuruçá, ☏ +55 800 696 7666. This is a pleasant beach apart-hotel where you can really be on your way feeling satiated from a full breakfast and enjoy the pool later on in the day. R$ 112.
- Pousada Costa Verde, R. Espírito Santos, 45, ☏ +55 21 2780-5323. This one is a little ho-hum just looking at the nondescript building that occupies the street corner, but, hey, it's only a block or two to the beach and sometimes that's all that matters. R$ 122.
- Guapuruvu HOSTEL, R. Eng. Irineu Marconi, Condominio Praia de Garatucaia, Angra dos Reis, 28, ☏ +55 21 99921-3237. This is a festive little place with hammocks and games and a small pool, plus a bar and free (kind of spartan) breakfast to enjoy your victuals. It's next to Garatucaia Beach and the pier to get to Ilha Grande.
