Marquette is a small town in northeast Iowa. It is of interest to travelers as the jumping-off point for Effigy Mounds National Monument. Another small town, McGregor, is immediately to the south.

  • Bloody Run County Park. The Bloody Run Trout Stream is popular for fishing. Primitive campsites can be rented from the county. Picnic tables and pit toilets. The Bloody Run State Wildlife Area is next door. $15.
