Lake Winnipesaukee is the primary attraction in Meredith. It is a major point on the lake, and has a large town-dock for boating day trippers. Plenty of places to eat and shop.




  • 1 Lago, 1 US Route 25, +1-603-279-2253. Sunday - Thursday 5:00PM - 9:00PM, Friday & Saturday 5:00PM - 9:30PM. Lakefront restaurant and bar with excellent views of the lake and mountains. Italian food. $27 USD.
  • 2 Lakeside Deli & Grille, 2 Pleasant Street, +1-603-677-7132. 11:00AM - 4:00PM. Casual counter service restaurant serving soup, sandwiches & lobster rolls. Beautiful views of the lake & mountains. $10 USD.



  • Meredith Inn B & B, Main & Waukewan St (I 93 N to 104 E, take left at light on Rt 3, at next light at intersection with Main St take a left, continue S and E on Main Street until you see the pink inn), +1 603-279-0000. Check-in: 3PM, check-out: 11AM. A non-smoking property. All rooms have private baths, individual heat control, cable TV and telephones. The building is fully sprinkled. A full breakfast is served each morning.
  • Tom Murphy, Collins Brook Rd, +1 603-524-1637. Check-in: noon, check-out: 10AM. Lakefront cottage rental. Sleeps six. Includes deep dock and canoe. Private, yet close to attractions.
