Minnipa is a town in South Australia, the gateway to the Eyre Peninsula.

Minnipa is a small town on the Eyre Highway (A1), where is crosses the base of the Eyre Peninsula.

Minnipa can be reached when travelling along the Eyre Highway (A1)

Minnipa does have a train station with occasional trains to Adelaide

Pildappa Rock is an interesting wave rock formation 15km outside of Minnipa (along a good quality dirt road). Follow the signs from the town.

  • Pullocks Leather Shop.

Wudinna, the next town east, has the excellent Alicia's Cakes-Coffee-Flowers for a lunch stop. There are no restaurants in Minnipa.
