The Northeast is a region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the South of Brazil.

  • 1 Caxias do Sul — the biggest city in the region offers wineries, castles, waterfalls, rivers, museums, caves, ecological sanctuaries, canyons, churches, nativity scenes, gaucho and Italian traditionalism
  • 2 Bento Gonçalves — a charming city with Italian heritage, with many vineyards and exuberant food culture; it is the Brazilian capital of grapes and wine.
  • 3 São Marcos a city of 22,000 people on the banks of the São Marcos and Antas rivers
  • 4 Vacaria — apple country, and home to the International Vacaria Rodeo
