Map of Omsk Oblast

  • 1 Omsk — One of Siberia's most important cities and one of Russia's largest, an excellent stop on the Trans-Siberian Railway
  • 2 Tara Tara, Omsk Oblast on Wikipedia — one of Siberia's first cities in the 16th century and the "mother" to many of Siberia's most important cities as it was an expeditionary base; it is a sleepy town home to a number of historical churches
  • 3 Bolsherechye Bolsherechye, Omsk Oblast on Wikipedia — a historic old Siberian fortress town (1627), which contains a huge zoo; its hippopotamuses made the news by turning up in a nearby lake and giving a couple drunk fishermen a real scare!

This region travel guide to Omsk Oblast is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here.
