Once you are in the Center at the Marktplatz you can easily get to every remarkable spot by foot. The walking distances are quite short as Perchtoldsdorf is quite small.

After registration (online or by mobile), pick up a bicycle at any Nextbike location, and drop it off at the same or any other Nextbike spot. A map of pickup and drop-off points can be found here (click on 'Mödling and scroll down to 'Perchtoldsdorf'); a brochure with map is available for download. €1/hr, €10/day.

Interesting spots in Perchtoldsdorf are the Wehrturm and the Rathaus (both 15th century) directly at the Marktplatz, and the Pfarrkirche (church from the 13th century) and Herzogsbrug (castle from the 11th century) both in 2 minuite walking distance from the Marktplatz.

Perchtoldsdorf is home to some fantastic family run winery restaurants, normally only open certain times of the year. Outside these restaurants (called a Heurigen in German) normally has a sign with the dates that it’s open.

Perchtoldsdorf is famous for its wine available at its Heurigen, which also serve food and local specialties for moderate prices. Many of them are located on Hochstraße, north of the city centre.
