Pertunmaa is a municipality in South Savonia, Finland.

Pertunmaa is a small rural municipality that seceded from Mäntyharju in the 1920s. Today, it is known as a popular summer cottage municipality. The municipality has two urban areas: the town center of Pertunmaa and Kuortti.

Get in[edit]

Pertunmaa centre is north of highway 5 between Heinola and Mikkeli. Coaches between Helsinki and Mikkeli stop at Kuortti, 10 km from the centre.

In school days there are a few buses from Mikkeli.

  • 1 Pertunmaa Market (Pertuntori), Pertuntie 4, +358 40-837-9950, . Only in summers. The market offers fresh local food, handicrafts, cosmetics and flea products. Everybody can also book a free point of sale by phone and e-mail.

  • 3 Tilliniemi Beach (Tilliniemen uimaranta).
