Pop is a city in the Ferghana Valley, Uzbekistan. The original name of the city was Bob, "gate" in Arabic. Eventually it got to Bop and then to Pop. It was one of the Silk Road cities. Now it is small, calm city, where travelers might go to see the real life of Uzbek people.
From the capital of the region - Namangan - there are taxis and minibuses that go to Pop.
It is a small city so you can easily see it on foot. You can stop a taxi if you want to go somewhere further.
