Ringim is a local government area and headquarters of the Ringim Emirate in Jigawa State Nigeria. Ringim is primarily populated by Hausa people, with strong influences from Fulani culture. It has a long history as part of the historic Kano Emirate and is a center for agriculture, particularly groundnut and millet farming. Ringim is also well-known for its traditional crafts and textiles.
