Socorro is an island town in Caraga Region. The whole town covers Bucas Grande Island, south of Siargao.

[edit]The Municipality of Socorro covers Bucas Grande Island. In 2015, it had a population of over 22,000 people. Socorro is subdivided into 14 barangays.
The main settlement is the Port of Socorro on the east side of the island. It has a public market.
