Barker is a small, sleepy town of about 533 people in Niagara County, New York. It's one of the villages and hamlets that together make up Somerset, a rural community on the south side of Lake Ontario, some 45 minutes away from the famous Niagara Falls.

Barker is just over an hour's drive from both Buffalo and Rochester, the nearest major destinations. Somerset Road and NY 148 (Quaker Road) intersect in town.

  • David Barker Park, Main Str. and Quaker. Have a picnic in the village park. In summer, a farmer's market and other activities are held here. Check the agenda on the village website.
