Flora and fauna[edit]

Rhinoceros and a variety of antelope can often be seen. The elephants and leopards are more elusive. Cattle from nearby farms often graze inside the park.

The lodging area in the east is separated from the rest of the game reserve. Only poorly maintained log cabins are available. The area is mostly used by locals as a party spot with throbbing house music the norm. Guests are allowed access to the brown-tinged water pool.
