The food is pricey, but it's hard to go wrong here, from mundane Russian pelmeni, to Georgian shashlik (wonderfully seasoned at this restaurant), to Uzbek chebureki. The restaurant is generally empty from opening to late dinner, but late at night it fills to the brim with the local Russian community, coming here for a raucous night of boozing and dancing to (um, heinous) Russki pop-sa and assorted Eurodance. Not a good time to eat, but a very fun and unique experience for the uninitiated! For drinks, try a Russian Baltika (beer), Russkii Standart (Russian Standard; vodka), Georgian wine (Khvanchkara is the best option), or just bother them for not carrying Armenian brandy.</eat>

Sadness, I loved this place. It seems like they are now operating only as a bar/nightclub? If so, I'll try to put it back, albeit under drink, once I confirm what's going on. Phone is disconnected... --(WT-en) Peter Talk 21:35, 11 April 2010 (EDT)

The banner for this article is being discussed again. As I Understand it, the issue is that the banner contains a photo of a sculpture for which there is no freedom of panorama, and so there has to be editorial justification for its use. It would be helpful if editors that are familiar with the area could contribute to this discussion. AlasdairW (talk) 10:58, 5 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
