Airport information[edit]

I've incorporated the gist of this into Paris so it's safe to delete the page. -- (WT-en) Mark 02:10, 12 March 2006 (EST)

vfd discussion[edit]

  • Delete. Not a destination... this airport information should be included in the Paris article. -- (WT-en) Mark 01:58, 12 March 2006 (EST)
  • I've not been there, but according to Wikipedia "Beauvais is a town and commune of northern France". If there are two Beauvais then this article should be about the town, and if there is only and it doesn't deserve an article then shouldn't it just become a redirect to the appropriate Paris article? -- (WT-en) Ryan 03:04, 12 March 2006 (EST)
  • Delete - When I created it, the article was called "Paris Beauvais Airport". Then someone else moved it to "Beauvais" which, as stated above, is the town and has nothing to do with the airport. The changes to the Paris site are good, so kill it. -- (WT-en) Matthew
  • Interesting problem... is there a hotel or something in Beauvais ? If so we probably should leave it, as an actual destination. Otherwise I suppose we should create an article for the north banlieue of Paris anyhow, and do a redirect. -- (WT-en) Mark 07:09, 12 March 2006 (EST)
  • Beauvais is 90 km from Paris, which is pretty darn far for a banlieue. I'd suggest keeping it as a small city, with appropriate linkage from Paris/by plane. (WT-en) Jpatokal 09:31, 12 March 2006 (EST)
