Big Sur has notable history. Artists like Henry Miller and Edward Weston. Esalen Institute. The Hearsts. Construction of the highway, including concrete bridges built by the WPA or in that era. Can someone who knows the history better than I do please start writing it up? (WT-en) LADave 15:03, 26 May 2007 (EDT)
- Wikipedia has a good description, we can't copy anything over verbatim due to the difference in licensing between our sites, but if you feel like picking some interesting facts out and putting them in your own words here, that would be helpful! – (WT-en) cacahuate talk 15:18, 26 May 2007 (EDT)
This page is listed as "usable." However, it actually lists every restaurant, gallery, and hotel/campground in Big Sur. (Big Sur is remote and thinly settled.) It would be difficult to improve on this without Wikipedia-style information. Should its status be changed? (WT-en) Rednikki 14:38, 7 January 2009 (EST)
- It looks like an upgrade to guide status would be appropriate. Thanks for catching that. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 15:08, 7 January 2009 (EST)
