Itinerary for New York's Broadway?

I just added a note about the Broadway in New York and was wondering if it would make sense to start an itinerary article about that street/road? I was surprised to learn how far north the road goes, so it could sure be an interesting one. -- ϒψιλον (talk) 14:06, 23 March 2019 (UTC)

All the way there? Interesting! Wikipedia says the road goes to Sleepy Hollow and this is where our dynamic map also stops labeling the road Broadway, but even that seemed far north. If someone would've asked me yesterday where the northern end of Broadway is, I'd replied "somewhere in Bronx or just north of Central Park, I think".

Have a look at w:U.S. Route 9 in New York and w:New York State Route 9A. I think the real question would be how to define the itinerary. My suggestion would be to have it follow Broadway till it joined Route 9 and then follow Route 9 all the way up to the border with Canada. It could be called "Broadway and Route 9". And I think that alternate routes using the number 9 such as 9A and 9G should also be included. But this is a really large proposal, so the article could be started with only a first segment and gradually expanded. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:48, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
