I'm not sure that this merger makes sense. This article is pretty useless now, and the traveller would be better served by being redirected to the Quintana Roo article. But the Costa Maya is a recognised tourist destination, and developing this article by splitting info out from the QR article would serve better travellers who are planning a trip to the Costa Maya without ever having heard of QR.
