Names and redirects[edit]

I propose that Kildare Village is renamed Kildare. The "village" is specifically the retail park - confusion may have arisen as it's the bus stop on the Dublin - Limerick route. Those links pointing at "Kildare" seem to be intended for town not county. I've also used the term Kildare Town as a disambig but that isn't local usage.

I propose redirecting Carbury, which just has a castle stump, to Edenderry across the boundary in Offaly.

Maynooth is currently disambig as Maynooth (Ireland) - does it not pass the "sufficiently famous" test? If so, then Maynooth Ontario would have to rename. I'll not float the suggestion there unless the Irish place passes the first test. Grahamsands (talk) 10:33, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
