Uh, if "In 1992 Czechoslovak Federative Republic is split into two separate countries: Czech Republic and Slovakia." then Czechoslovakia is no longer an actual destination... right? So I think this page needs to be nixed and the content moved to Czech Republic and Slovakia-- or am I missing something? (WT-en) Majnoona 00:20, 25 Feb 2004 (EST)

Yes they can. The political boundaries and names may have changed, but all the visitable places previously described as 'in Czechoslovakia' are still there. Names like this have significant inertia and don't go away quickly just because somebody changed some political boundaries. Consequently, and however erroneously, many people from outside still talk and think about Czechoslovakia; I confess to doing it myself sometimes. This article provides a useful routing mechanism for anybody who makes that mistake when entering a Wikivoyage search, and should be retained. -- (WT-en) Chris j wood 15:21, 11 Jul 2004 (EDT)

Instead of being informative about the seperation of Czechoslovakia into two states we replace the current text on the disamb page with this: "Unfortunately, as you were planning your trip this country ceased to exist.
