I'm not sure the name change is correct. The guideline is to use the most common English name, and I don't think there is one for this town. As far as I know there's no reason to get rid of non-ASCII characters just to do so. -- (WT-en) Mark 05:06, 12 Jul 2005 (EDT)

Fair enough, I'm doing a few different things at once and after the article was added I just did a quick Google search to verify that both names were in use prior to moving. Probably the American fear of letters that can't be easily found on my keyboard took over ;) -- (WT-en) Wrh2 05:15, 12 Jul 2005 (EDT)
We've had some various policies about non-ASCII Latin characters over the years. We really try to romanize non-Latin characters, but accented stuff has been contentious. I believe the current policy is to leave accented Latin characters in English names. --(WT-en) Evan 07:08, 12 Jul 2005 (EDT)
