both the Spanish and the English WP have pictures of the fortress in their articles on it. I don't know how to put them here but I do think they are of interest to the traveller. —The preceding comment was added by 141.30.210.129 (talkcontribs)

Hi. Thanks a lot for all your edits! I have added a link to the Wikimedia Commons page for El Castillo, Río San Juan. Click the link for it in the sidebar. Then click (or sometimes it's better to right-click and open in a separate tab) on any photo you'd like to look at, and when you decide you want to add it to the article here, pick a place for it, type [[, copy the photo's filename, and then type |thumb|Whatever you want to put in the caption]] (and please ignore the "nowiki" codes). So here's an example, and you can see how I did this by going into edit mode:
File:Catillo Inmaculada Concepción.jpg
El Castillo de la Concepción (the Fortress of the Immaculate Conception)
Also, please do sign your posts on talk pages. It can be confusing to read a dialogue with unsigned posts. Use 4 tildes in a row.
All the best,

pagebanner

[edit]

I'd suggest to replace the pagebanner with either this http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:El_Castillo02.JPG or that image http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:El_Castillo01.JPG from wikimedia commons. However I do not know how to format it so that it looks appealing. The first image has the benefit of giving a better overview and sense of the size of the place the second one shows more of the fortress. 141.30.210.129 16:36, 31 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm still in favor of doing this. However, I do not know how to crop it to a good and fitting format.141.30.210.129 15:43, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Sure. Here are the instructions for how to make banners out of photos if you want to try creating the banner yourself (and learn how to do them for other articles lacking custom made banners). Otherwise, just let me know. ϒpsilon (talk) 16:02, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
If you could do that it'd be awesome... unfortunately I never really understood GIMP and do not have the time or patience right now to learn it ps: I was busy with other stuff for a couple of weeks so no wikivoyage for me141.30.210.129 14:35, 13 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
