Talk:Fargo
Moorhead as a suburb of Fargo
[edit]As one who lives in Fargo and works in Moorhead, I'm uncomfortable with the way this article makes it seem that Moorhead is merely a suburb of Fargo. Moorhead is smaller than Fargo, but the word "suburb" implies a that Fargo is the city and Moorhead is merely an outlying area of Fargo. This isn't accurate, and I don't think it's right that, for instance, Dilworth (which is a suburb of Moorhead) is referred to as a suburb of Fargo, along with Moorhead. Or that Fargo is given credit for Sarello's, a restaurant which is actually in Moorhead. Removing all such references from this article may require considerable rewriting, so I can't get to it right away, but I'm thinking about it. Somebody let me know if I'm off base.(WT-en) Spottacus 01:31, 5 July 2007 (EDT)
- Plunge forward! If you see changes to make, then make them. Filling out the Moorhead article would help to make your case. I notice you've added a ton of restaurants to that article, but try to focus on a few restaurants (in Budget/Mid-range/Splurge price categories) that are unique or notable in Moorhead - we generally don't list things like Burger King or Taco Bell that can be found anywhere, unless they are the only places to eat for 500 miles.
