Viewing Georgian fonts[edit]
How do I view these characters in firefox? I see question marks for the Georgian characters.

- Not always, there are severe bugs with foreign character display in firefox, this could REALLY use pictures of the characters, something like (Georgian chars for B,O,O) ([[Image:GeorgB.svg]][[Image:GeorgO.svg]][[Image:GeorgO.svg]]). - I'm confused, are you proposing we replace every instance of a Georgian character on this page with a link to an image file? That would take forever to load and would make it difficult to edit for anyone correcting spelling or phrase syntax. Word stress[edit]
I don't think it's a good idea to put emphases on syllables at all in this pronunciation guide (that is, capitalized syllables in the transliterated pronunciation guide). Linguists aren't totally settled on whether there is no stress in Georgian, or whether there is faint stress on the third to last syllable of multi-syllabic words. But either way, we don't need stressed syllables in the pronunciation guide, and the top of the article explains this. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 22:46, 1 February 2009 (EST)

Formality[edit]
A well meaning contributor a while back removed the polite versions of hello, thank you, etc. I think it's pretty important to keep both around, as travelers might use a phrasebook for formalities with business partners, just as much as a backpacker might use it to buy fruit in the market. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 17:37, 22 August 2010 (EDT)
