Districts

This "Districts" section was inserted into this article:

Districts

[edit]

Greenville is a fairly large and spread-out city. There are numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities located throughout the city. Restaurants and shopping are divided among each district in the sections below.

 Downtown
Greenville’s central business district, and the location of Greenville’s growing skyline, located east of West End. This area is home to numerous museums, restaurants, boutique shops and the Bon Secours Wellness Arena which is home to the Greenville Swamp Rabits.
Falls Park and the West End
Historic district of Greenville located just west of Downtown. This area is home to numerous restaurants and coffee shops. The area is also well-known for being the location of Falls Park, an iconic Greenville landmark and Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive.
 Eastside
Greenville’s eastern limits and large area directly east of Downtown at the interchange of Interstate 85 and 385, home to Haywood Mall and numerous stores and restaurants which stretch along Woodruff Road and Interstate 385.
 Southside
Greenville’s far southern limits known for its vast tree canopy and suburban neighborhoods, located to the south of Downtown and bounded by the Reedy River to the east. The area is home to the Greenville Country Club and a variety of restaurants.

What is the important reason to have this section in an article for a medium-sized city that is not and presumably should not be divided into different district articles on Wikivoyage? Wouldn't it be enough to have an "Orientation" subsection of "Understand", indicating what the landmarks and important streets are? Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:12, 24 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
